No. Cats respond differently to new enclosed spaces. Let your cat approach and enter voluntarily, introduce the playpen gradually, and stop if they seem uncomfortable.
Does it roll automatically?
No. MewRoam™ has no motor. Some cats may cause the playpen to move by walking inside; others prefer to sit and observe. Movement depends on the cat and surface.
Is the playpen completely escape-proof?
No enclosure should be treated as completely escape-proof. The zippered opening keeps the entry closed during use, but you should always check the zipper, mesh, and frame and remain nearby.
Can I use it indoors and outdoors?
Yes, in suitable spaces with supervision. Choose level, obstacle-free ground. Avoid roads, ponds, steps, slopes, unprotected balconies, excessive heat, and nearby animals that could frighten your cat.
Can my cat stay inside unattended?
No. MewRoam™ is designed for short, supervised enrichment sessions, not unattended containment.
Will it fit my cat?
The open diameter is approximately 27.6 inches (70 cm). There is no verified maximum weight rating. Check that your cat can stand, turn, and move comfortably before use.
How should I introduce a nervous cat?
Begin indoors with the entry open. Allow your cat to sniff the playpen, approach it, and walk in voluntarily. Use patient, gentle encouragement and never force your cat inside.
Can it move on grass?
It is designed for use on suitable level surfaces, including short grass. Actual rolling performance varies with the ground and your cat’s movement. Check for holes, stones, and other hazards first.
Is the mesh scratch-proof?
The material is polyester mesh. No fabric is immune to damage from claws. Check the mesh and seams for wear before each session and discontinue use if damaged.
